Elaine Kloos RN, CNE-BC, MBA

Elaine brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare administration and oncology consulting to her role at RBS.  Elaine has over 25 years of expertise in Oncology Administration and Women’s Breast Health Services, with specific areas of focus in clinical service line development, comprehensive breast care centers, strategic planning, and revenue cycle analysis as well as facility design and project management.  For the past 13 years, she served as an oncology consultant leading hundreds of projects across the country.

 

As a Registered Nurse, Elaine is very well versed in clinical operations, patient satisfaction, and new program development, as well as The Joint Commission, ACoS, NAPBC, ACR, and ACRO accreditation processes.  She has served as an Oncology Service Line Director and Vice President for numerous healthcare systems and community-based hospitals.  Elaine’s oncology experience includes oversight for inpatient medical and GYN oncology units, radiation oncology, outpatient chemotherapy infusion, medical and GYN oncology physician practices, comprehensive breast centers, clinical research, community outreach, and cancer registry.  Among her significant areas of proficiency are revenue cycle analysis of the oncology service line (both medical oncology and radiation oncology), strategic planning, operational efficiency, new program development, and facility design.

 

During her tenure as a hospital oncology executive as well as an oncology consultant, she has led multiple major projects that involved new cancer center construction, renovations, and expansions.

 

Elaine is active in multiple national organizations, including the Association of Cancer Executives, the Oncology Nursing Society, and the Association of Community Cancer Centers.  She served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Cancer Executives for many years and is the past Treasurer. Elaine received her Nursing Degree from the University of Tennessee, a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Auburn University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
